While sadly Miley’s personal life seems to be crumbling with the announcement of recent divorce from Hollywood heartthrob, Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus continues to churn out some of her most worthy professional material. While “Slide Away” is a goodbye to her husband it is a departure from the typical breakup song, there’s no sorry me felt here. The track feels intimate while still embracing a subtle hip-hop vibe and 90s feel expertly crafted by producers Mike WiLL Made-It and Andrew Wyatt.
