Love has the worst luck sometimes. Tyra Madison laments a romance that’s quickly soured, despite all her best efforts. With “Right Girl Wrong Time,” the country singer-songwriter recognizes there’s love somewhere, perhaps buried down deep under layers of immaturity – but the pieces are just not fitting together like they should.
“I was the right girl at the wrong time / If I met you down the road, or maybe in another life / I wonder how I’d look standin’ by your side,” she sings. She offers up an alternate reality, if only for a moment, before coming to terms with the truth. “But I was the right girl, right girl / At the wrong time.”
