COVID-19 is inspiring music right and left. Arguably pop’s biggest stars right now, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande link up for a sultry collaboration called “Stuck with U.” “If you told me that the world’s endin’ / Ain’t no other way that I can spend it,” coos Bieber.
Its waltz-like framework is shot through a wholly modern, chill R&B filter, Bieber and Grande falling in and out of the light. “Can’t fight this no more, it’s just you and me,” the two swing in tandem. “And there’s nothin’ I, nothin’ I, I can do / I’m stuck with you, stuck with you, stuck with you.”
Proceeds are set to benefit to First Responders Children’s Foundation.
