Carly Rae Jepsen & Bleachers – “Comeback”

There are few pop stars with as strong a catalog as Carly Rae Jepsen. Her new release, Dedicated Side B, stands triumphantly against last year’s Dedicated, synth-soaked creations that feel much stronger than the “Side B” would have you believe. Much like 2016’s Emotion Side B (the companion to her critically heralded Emotion), the new set glistens with some of her best work.

“Comeback,” a collaboration with Jack Antonoff’s Bleachers side project, witnesses Jepsen reclaiming herself and the narrative. “I was thinking about making a comeback,” she whispers into your ear. Her velvety whispers are magic (as they nearly always are), and here, they dance as light beams across Antonoff’s plush sound waves.

Listen to “Comeback” below.
