A debut single can cost you everything. It can either sink you or set you on course for a promising career. While feeling familiar, Sean Verchick’s first outing “Use Me” gives him ample room to leave a scuff mark.
“I’ll ease the pain I’m hiding / At least for a moment,” he weeps. Production smooths over his emotional edges, embroidered with a classic edge, and his smokiness envelopes from start to finish. It’s not breaking any boundaries, or charting new ground, yet there’s something truly inviting about it.
