We don’t give Kisos nearly enough credit. His viral hit “Happily Ever After” aside (which we still love), he’s amassed a collection of insanely emotional pop songs. From “He Didn’t Want Me” to his new cut “Call Me When You’re Wasted,” a collaboration with Anna Wang, Kisos is unstoppable.
With the latter, featuring a moody melody wrapped around some funky, off-kilter instrumentation, he calls you into his storytelling web. “You only want me when I’m gone,” he weeps. Its weirdness is surprisingly addicting, an energizing musicality that accentuates his inner turmoil.
