On new single “Respect,” Neo-Soul artist ALONZO’s broad vocal ability and artistry shines through. The song kicks-off subtly before ALONZO smoothly moves to his incredibly powerful upper register in the chorus. Just when you think he can’t possibly stretch his range any more, ALONZO leaps into the stratosphere to wrap up the groovy track.
Aside from his undeniable vocals, the message of “Respect” is a timely one with the current climate and Black Lives Matter movement. It is a powerful statement. This guy is uber talented.
