“I want to feel alive.” Su Lee’s tears fall across her keyboard, xylophonic colors that erupt around her like purple orbs. Her suffocating melancholy, wrought from the social media age, contrasts against a feathery backdrop. “I need to get out more,” she later surmises.
But she can’t. None of us can. Not only is the world still in the throes of a pandemic, but like, social media is the worst. It’s like one of those sirens along a craggy shoreline, offering the promise of affection and validation but leaving you further depleted and weary.
