Lindsey Stirling can make you feel every little thing. Her string-bound electronica is nearly unmatched these days, and her new song “Lose You Now” is no exception. A collaboration with Mako, the soaring mid-tempo ballad swims in waters of grief and coping, fully immersed in Stirling’s own tragedies.
“I’m not gonna lose you now,” Mako belts into the ether. Stirling’s violin plays emotionally against Mako’s own evocative take, punctuating the sheer devastation wrought out of death and loss. It’s a gut-punch performance that’ll make you cry, and perhaps find a new kind of hope.
