“Doesn’t glow until you break it,” sings Bri Fletcher. Her new song “Glow” sparkles, yet carries the weight of the world. The country singer-songwriter was reflecting on the struggle for women in Nashville, and the words, co-written with Katie Austin, sprang from her soul.
Fletcher also enlists a bevy of women, including April Kry and Tori Allen, to sing on the track. “The pressure is all around but / That’s what you need right to glow.” It’s a celebration of womanhood, a mountain-crushing roar that captures the current moment.
