Harmony Byrne – “Do Not Disturb”

Harmony Byrne possesses an ethereal, trembling timbre. It’s also not unlike shattered glass, as the singer-songwriter lets the jaggedness of her emotions inform every single lyrical twirl and backflip. “Do Not Disturb” is no different, finding her rinse the piano keys with a gushing, torrential water-spout. “You come and tell me that I need to leave you to it. But can not love be the blood that’s pumping through us with all the freedom and feeling of two people breathing?” she asks, barely a whisper. It’s enough to pulverize your soul.
