Crunching percussion and other rhythmic textures blanket around Francois Klark’s serene, yet still reedy, vocal swaying. “Paper Planes” reads like a haunted lullaby, as the story’s central figures find themselves swept into the beauty of beachside sunsets, the ocean slapping against the sand. “I am yours, and you are mine,” he sings with pounding breaths. It’ll surely wash right over you.
