Chasing Abbey have been making inroads in the states for a few years now, after crashing the Irish ceiling, so to speak. And for good reason. Songs like their latest banger “Close to You” demonstrate a knack for radio candy. “Even if I delete your number or throw away my phone, I can’t erase the memories,” the band struggles to let the past go. For now, they’ll douse their bodies in nostalgia, hit the dancefloor, and hope when they reemerge they’ve forgotten all about her.
