Kid Travis expertly bridges the gap between pop and hip-hop on “Where You’re From.” His unending vocal ability mixed with his quasi- flows bleed together for a commercial masterpiece. The upbeat track finds Travis wrestling with an impossible relationship. Synth sounds are weaved throughout the track making it that much more mainstream. If you haven’t gotten on the Kid Travis train, you are missing out on the early career of a superstar.
