With “Scars,” the singer-songwriter infuses the usual rush of cheek-blushed emotions like overwhelming infatuation with a bowl-you-over rumbling. It’s a honky tonk delight, fashioned with locomotive electric guitars dancing across the drum kit. “I got blood on my hands from emotional demands,” she sings.
