Wistful and reflective, Bri Fletcher transports the listener back to her childhood. “Astronaut” seeks to rediscover youthful wonder and abandon, as she gazes overhead to her bedroom ceiling plastered in glow-in-the-dark star stickers. A lava lamp bubbles on her nightstand, and a TV flickers static across her face. In her musings, she longs to go back in time, to a place before she started asking all the tough questions about her life. Oh, don’t we all.
