E. Alvin spins a hypnotic, synth-encased web. “see me” is like a million glass bulbs shattering at once, casting needle flecks into the eyes. “I’m your keepsake / You’re not modest when you’re honest / But you’re healing,” they sing, seeking absolution from themselves and their own skin-pricking ways. In their vicious cycles, they’ve morphed into their own abuser. “see me” is the long-overdue untangling.
