I was randomly scrolling on TikTok, and my FYP was flooded with clips of “Numb Little Bug.” The chorus instantly wrapped around my soul and pulled me in. I then immediately googled the artist to find the full song. Well, Em Beihold’s viral smash totally bowled me over. Akin to Peach PRC’s “Heavy,” the track wades into the torrential flood waters of mental health, just blended into a bright and jolly backdrop.
“Like you’re not really happy / But you don’t want to die.” I feel attacked.
