Peyton Shay – “True Love Never Dies”

Peyton Shay explores the notion that love is one of those boundless energies untethered by the physical realm. “True Love Never Dies” dips between classic and modern styles, leaving her voice to act as a needle to connect it all. “Train tracks, street fights, lovers on a cold night,  and all the shit that can’t be said / Reaching for that one thing that almost killed us in our past life,” she sings. Love is a ghost, it seems, always gliding between the here and now and among all the human beings we encounter.
