Well, so to speak. “Flame red carpet moment, posing for the paparazzi / Fuck what they did to Britney, to Lady Di and Whitney,” she harpoons the media circus. Background instrumentation is spooky and contrasts against the vibrating electric guitar. True to form, Sawayama fashions a magnificent genre fusion for the ages.
