MUNA – “Home by Now”

Regret is the sort of knotted sprout you can’t get rid of. Even time has difficulty pruning it away. MUNA gets lost in the overgrowth with “Home by Now,” a synth-pop pulse with a bruise emotional core. “Now I don’t know if I’d been okay with holding out hope for your stack of rainchecks,” Katie Gavin mulls over. “If I had been able to grin and bear it, would we be home by now?” They may never know the answers truthfully, but cheers to finding solace on the dance floor.
