Vardaan Arora is a master of the dance floor. Where he let his heart shatter into a million fragments with “Heartbreak on the Dance,” he seeks to further process his emotions on “damn (can you let me live),” an equally-addictive pill of dance-pop euphoria. “I keep asking for a moment to myself,” he sings, lamenting the invasion of his privacy. “Stuck again in this place / Telling myself it ain’t true,” he continues later on. The walls are closing in, met with the mental anguish squeezing his heart into a pulp. The heartbreak is long gone, but the pain lingers.
