Chris Housman – “Nobody”

Country sweetheart Chris Housman romances with his vintage-spun new song “Nobody.” Over a sparkling waltz structure, Housman weeps for a former relationship, yet pours out every ounce still gurgling in his heart. “Baby you let me go but you can’t set me free,” he vows, “‘cause if it ain’t you, it ain’t nobody / So maybe that happy ever after love’s not for me.” The song comes a year after the release of his queer anthem, “Blueneck,” displaying a wildly more intimate vibe than previously known. It’s a charming addition to his songbook so far.
