I don’t know about you, but it’s officially spooky season in this house. Not only does that mean I’ve already pulled out Halloween decorations, but I’ve started transitioning to dark pop music. YouTuber and contortionist Sofie Dossi gives a haunted injection with her new song “Bunny.” What starts out with twinkling piano quickly diverts into a throbbing Billie Eilish hellscape. “Bunny” works well as a companion piece to Eilish’s “Bury a Friend,” both possessing a tortured rhythmic base that nearly busts the eardrums. It’s unsettling enough to get your horror-hound head bleeding.
