Madison Beer – “Dangerous”

Madison Beer tears away the veneer. “Dangerous” deceptively shimmers beneath a classic pop exterior, while Beer bares the most vulnerable state of her being. She buckles beneath a pain so heavy, you only can experience it to fully understand. “Right when I think I hate you, something pulls me under like the tide,” she frets. “Even picked a house and chose our kids’ names / You’d always be mine.” Beer’s vocal is fragile but remains commanding enough to dig and worm and slide behind the eyes. Unforgettable.
