Caleb Lee Hutchinson – “Freedom”

Caleb Lee Hutchinson seeks freedom in his guitar. “I’m giving up on love,” he moans on a track aptly titled “Freedom.” Only a guitar in tow, the song breaks and snaps off the ends of the heartstrings. Only jagged edges remain.  “I  wish there was a strange way to just rewind the tape / And take it back to a month ago / To our last good day,” he wanders through his mind, letting his thoughts ebb and flow. The song ends Hutchinson’s brand new EP, Songs I’ll Never Play Again, and it’s a helluva of a performance.
