Erin Enderlin spins a deliciously hairy version of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising.” Keeping the melody intact, Enderlin dusts up the arrangement and production with a healthy coating of hand sown, homegrown country. “I see earthquakes and lightnin’ / I see bad times today,” she sings before leaping into the hook. “Don’t go around tonight / Well it’s bound to take your life / There’s a bad moon on the rise,” she twirls her voice. As far as covers go, it’s always tough to match the energy and style of the original, but leave it to Enderlin to deliver the goods.
