American Idol champion Noah Thompson determines to be a better person through giving more than he takes in life. “Make You Rich” finds the singer-songwriter reflecting back to his small town upbringing and how it greatly influenced his way of thinking and approach to life. “When I think back when the way I was raised and the way I think / A man isn’t measured by more than a treasure stacked up in the bank,” he observes with the opening verse. Instead, he hopes to “be a better man than your old man was.” Considering how the world operates, it’s something we all should consider doing more of in our everyday lives.
